... crowded restaurant where I had the most delusions chicken in cream truffle sauce topped off with marinated strawberries, ice cream and crushed meringue, John had a beautiful steak and chips. Once we got to the Eiffel we realised being a weekend the queues were long so we decided to come back tomorrow after we have booked on-line which means we can jump to the front ...

After lunch at a sandwich shop (on great French bread) in Duingt, we rode back to Annecy. We got back to Annecy just in time to return the bikes and hop on a 1 hour boat tour on the lake.

Returning back at the hotel around 5, we enjoyed some wine and other goodies on ...

When a very dear and very long-time friend emails you that she's going to be in an interesting city that's much closer to you than it is to her, and asks if you can come out to play with her, what possible answer can you give other than "But of course!"? Mike had a conference he was attending and Tamar came along because she could. And what good is it to live in Europe and not take advantage of opportunities like this?

So, that's how I ended up on an ...
