An Awesome Stay At Hotel Centro

Our Stay at Hotel Centro was awesome, this is because of the fact that they gave us quality service as well as great accommodation experience. They have a pool and a bar by the pool which gives a more relaxing experience. Their staff were very helpful from picking us up from the airport to bringing us to the airport.

      Transit day

... was uneventful. It felt great pulling back in to Puerto Princesa, negotiating confidently with the trike drivers, knowing my way around, seeing some friends one last time. I ate at my favourite places- sizzling tofu at Ugong Rock, black bean veggie burger at Ima’s vegetarian restaurant. I spent the night looking at photos and telling stories with Kamila, then headed to bed for my early morning flight to ...

I never thought love would come my way again, but Oline, in some ways, has come to symbolize my own growth and development that began as I left Los Angeles and the memories that city represented, and culminated in my Beijing experiences, including ...

Being in Palawan, we were very close to the underground river in Sabang, which has recently been named one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The six of us (we are still with the Aussies, now there are four of them) booked a pretty unorganized tour to go see it. Long story short, it was late to pick us up, screwed up the timing and made us wait all day to see the river, and then dropped us off in ...

... to hear. We had a really good dinner at KaLui, which was another restaurant that Andrew recommended for us. We needed a reservation and it was really fancy inside, but it actually ended up being cheaper than our dinner the night before. We both had fruit shakes and fish cordon blue and our meals came with dessert, which turned out to be papaya with brown sugar on top. Yum! All I can do now is go home and get a much needed sleep and hope that tomorrow will be better than ...

      ... World War.

As it was again very hot and humid we decided to have lunch and head back to our accommodation for a good rest.

One of the attractions in Palawan is the Underground River which has a few years ago been declared one of the Seven New Natural Wonders of the World (which one might argue is probably quite an arbitrary decision to start with but surely helps local tourism). As always once something is declared a “must ...
