Today we set off from the Linssen Yachts base in Maasbracht heading south. We started in sun but the weather very quickly turned "proper Cornish" - horizontal rain with a touch of sleet! Everything went very smoothly for Captain Martin - watch the video! First lock - 150 yards long - nobody else around - good news for first time out. Then ...

... always be restrained from buying beautiful interesting products due to the high prices and the difference in the Euro/dollar exchange rate. We were surprise that prices seemed so much better and affordable this trip. We did restrain ourselves though as we do not need anything now and have no room to haul it or put in Sparky when we return.
