Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

... we went out on the town to see what was happening. Semana Santa was happening. Zacatecas was going big for the holy week, as it also happened to be a major anniversary of a decisive revolutionary battle that was won here. The city was throwing some free concerts in front of the cathedral, and even though we didn't get tickets, you could hear the music dancing through the glowing streets. The place was packed with vacationing Mexicans...and a couple gringos. ...

... The resort itself is quite pleasant and really enjoyed the sunsets. Also recommend trying the Fish and Ceviche at La Genuina. The restaurant is out of the way but the textures and flavors were really amazing. The restaurant itself was situated in a warehouse type building with local bands and music. Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...
