... br> We were soon on our way again and I arrived around 8pm and jumped straight on a bus into town to meet my host Diego who was organising a punk gig in a local bar. Asking around on the bus to see if anyone knew where the park was I needed to get off at I found a guy from Mexico city who was also visiting and looked it up on his smartphone...sometimes it would really come in handy to have one of those!

So each end of the bay represents 2 different class extremes, and the middle is a strip of fast-food, retail shopping, and over-priced family restaurants. Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

... The resort itself is quite pleasant and really enjoyed the sunsets. Also recommend trying the Fish and Ceviche at La Genuina. The restaurant is out of the way but the textures and flavors were really amazing. The restaurant itself was situated in a warehouse type building with local bands and music. Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...

Even getting in late at night and was instantly dripping with sweat – perfect when you only have one pair of clothes and introduce yourself to your Couchsurfing host. Still Mario understood my situation and was cool with everything. He gave me a bit of an introduction to the city, which I had no idea had been as dangerous as what it was, but similar to most areas – stick around the centre and the touristy spots and ...
