Munich, at least in this part of it, is more multicultural, lots of Arabic, Indian, and possibly north African people among the more European population .... and so many people, bumping into us, no 'sorry!' or any acknowledgement of any kind which shocked Marin in particular :) And so many smokers!

I had that wanderlust feeling of teetering around in unknown areas. The fact that I was frolicking the streets of Germany was so surreal.

We headed to the Hofbrauhaus for a stein of bier!
I went all tough bloke and ordered a stein of bier, in other words 1 litre of premium lager bier. I also had a Weiner Schnitzel.. 17.50 Euros! But it was the most succulent veal schnitzel ...

... gave me some good ideas for my classroom. She also taught us some British slang. Apparently they say "that's the way forward" for something trendy and "totes ream" when something is cool. After that our waiter helped get us inside the tent for the night. Inside the tent we joined some Germans at their table for the night. One of the women at the table was a Dane who now lives in Germany! We talked for a long time about Copenhagen and she was very impressed ...
