We say farewell to Milan with a taxi to the Central Railway Station which is huge, try to purchase tickets from carne machine but it won't accept my credit card, luckily a nice gypsy woman just happened to be looking over my shoulder and offered to help and we get our tickets. Grazie mille, but she doesn't want my thanks as she has just come out of hospital and needs some money. She still had the bandage on her arm! Feeling sorry for her ...

This won't be a long blog entry, I only want to say that today I went to a village called Cantu in the Lombardia region of Italy (where I am staying), and it was interesting! More people on the street spoke Italian to me - people really like to make conversation here! Not sure what they were saying, whether it was polite or not, but oh well I said "Si" and smiled and nodded anyway.
