We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. This won't be a long blog entry, I only want to say that today I went to a village called Cantu in the Lombardia region of Italy (where I am staying), and it was interesting! More people on the street spoke Italian to me - people really like to make conversation here! Not sure what they were saying, whether it was polite or not, but oh well I said "Si" and smiled and nodded anyway.
