Friday, March 21st, the first day of Spring, in Mexico it is called Primavera! All of the primary schools and kindergartens participate in a parade. They go to great lengths in decorating their floats. Most have a princess and sometimes a prince as well sitting on the float throwing candy to the other children.

... Don and Marguerite took a bus up here to visit us at La Penita. We walked through the Market quickly and picked up a few things, we had lunch and we walked back to the campground. It was fun to see them again.
We like it here, the ocean is warm and refreshing. The waves are too big for swimming, we just jump around in the waves. We are going to stay here another week and leave on Monday, March 24th.
