... town to complete some more provisioning.
This being the final leg of this sailing season we need to ensure we have enough to see us through as there are not going to be many more provisioning opportunities in the next (less than) two weeks.
There's not that many opportunities down the east coast to either anchor or go into marina's – there's going to be a couple of long passages – i.e. much more than 5 miles, coming up.

          ...

          More lovely anchorages

          ... 26 August
Left the anchorage mid morning and headed south. We popped into Porto Cervo out of
curiosity – the marina is supposedly one of the most expensive in the world.
Then anchored in cove not too far away which was full of day trippers and mega yachts.
On the way in we passed the Maltese Falcon which is reported to be the 3rd largest sailing vessel in the world.
This anchorage is lovely – beautiful turquoise coloured water.

          ...

... which is so refreshing on our feet. It had been raining so the water isn't crystal clear like the previous time. We walk through the water to the waterfall and briefly place our bodies against it while shrieking from the cold water! It's so beautifully refreshing and it will keep us cool for our long assent!
The walk back up is tiring and long and our legs and thighs are burning from the walk. We take it ...

          Tuesday 28th July.
Stayed moored again today, another windy day. So we hired a taxi and drove to. Little village called Arzachena about 15kms away. We had fun walking in and out of the little boutique shops. This town is obviously a summer destination for tourists, few ancient buildings, plenty coffee and food shops. , We had lunch at a nice Ristorante on ...

... So after 3 lots, the head was starting to get a bit "wonky". The boat needed more wine, so there was the opportunity to grab some more!!
The five of us girls all have iPads , so we are getting iPad "savvy", learning off one another. We now all have viber, so are able to send photos to one another through viber free. I have learnt that you can't use BigPond to send emails from overseas, but can receive. So ...
