Caves n coast

We left the ship not knowing what to expect – the ship docked on our side so we got to see all the security firsthand before leaving, but no issues getting off or back on (another stamp for the old passport!).

Verona and Padua
Today was Verona and Padua. Verona, with its Roman Arena from the first century A.D. where, ironically, they were setting up for a huge concert this evening featuring Adriano, a popular rock group. The inner wall quite well preserved through the centuries and a small section of the outer wall still standing.
