... at the car we decided to move on to another walk, but when we got there it was closed. We then went somewhere else on the reserve where there was no available parking. We then drove around a bit and I happened to see a few bison through the fence line, so we stopped to look at them. There were a few baby bison that basically looked like calves, and one big guy walked right up to the fence line to stare at us. Whenever we moved the bison's eyes ...

Whether he made his point or not, he put more than a few tourists off their brekky. We also spoke briefly to a man who, as a child was present in the crowd, and claimed to have seen the infamous "second shooter" on the Grassy Knoll. He was ...

As we drove back toward Burleson, we made a detour to pick a rental car at a stop on the freeway. Well, they say everything is bigger in Texas, and that certainly applies to the waiting time at the care rental offices. After an hour or so, we were presented with a Hyundai Accent. It had Missouri plates on it, so I can only presume the wait was because they had gone there to pick it up for us.

... us the store was 44,000 sf holding some 6,000 different wines and over 100,000 bottles. After that we made our obligatory trip to Walmart for a few things. For dinner last night, we went to BABES chicken. It is a fun and filling place to eat. We have one new couple attending this weekend and they have the same coach we do only a different color scheme. He and Bob were talking and they are having some ...
