    ... scrolling we decided to bite the bullet and head to some lakes about 40k outside of Salzburg. We left Vienna around 10.30 and I my comment on the motorway being scenic is not quite true, not when travelling North West anyway. The rain didn't help and the majority of the 180km I drove was pretty much farm land with very little view of towns.
