    ... successfully with the help of a few friendly people. Germans are very helpful and if you ask for assistance go out of their way to get you to where you want to go. We arrived at the cruise boat successfully and were ushered on board to our cabin.     We set out this morning to find a breakfast place in the old city of Cologne. On the way we came across a wedding at what we think was city hall. Actually more than one. While we were watching the gathered masses another wedding car, a beatle VDub, arrived with an older, maybe second time around couple in it.     ... amp; as soon as you have finished another one is served & a mark on your mat keeps tally of how many you have drunk. The idea is that the beer is always 'fresh' & freshly drawn. Worked well..J had an impressive number of marks......

    ... hard to miss! We have a view of the top of it from our room, and right now, at 3:30 in the morning, it is lit up and very striking looking. It is not so much beautiful, in fact it's scary looking and sort of too overwhelming to be beautiful. But it is nonetheless striking. Very medieval and gothic.
