A 2014 Mouton Rothschild will set you back well over 300 dollars; a 2014 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild currently goes for close to 400 dollars a bottle. That's if you buy a case, and so it goes.

This morning I worked several hours in the hotel room, then at 10:00 walked over to the chateau to have a look. I got behind a family group from the Netherlands and had to wait while they negotiated the ticket counter.

... from Bordeaux called a Cannelé. Will have to keep an eye out for that one! We got off the train, and it wasn't much cooler, although the fresh air and a bit of a breeze definitely helped! The lady at reception said she specifically gave us this one because we were staying so long, and it was the ...

... increased about 10cents (8p) since last year, according to my memory.

For most of the way, we follow the N10. There has been some major money spent on this road since we last came this way, about four years ago now. It is almost all high quality dual carriageway.

We stop for the night at a place called Cadillac, east and slightly south of Bordeaux. I am not sure ...
