Great start to the day and free time in Biarritz until 11.30. No wake up call and we didn't wake up until 8.30 which was awesome. Casual breaky and walk around town, down to beach and little laneways. Great photos along the coast. Drive to Bordeaux and dropped off ...

About an hours drive to get to Saint-Emilion today.

We walked to Monument Aux Girondins (Liberty Breaking ...

Brenda had the grilled lobster with risotto, I had the fish soup and the oysters, of course. It is tradition in Aracochon to have oysters with sausage. Hard to explain but it works, it seems to bring out the sweetness of the oysters. I forgot to mention that the restaurant was right on the beach. We seemed to have missed ...

... with Amy, then me, then after watching a little longer, we started the walk back towards the hotel. The mirror pool was fogging again when we got there, which was awesome, so we walked through there and got some photos, then kept walking. We stopped along the way at this crazy public toilet thing, which was self cleaning. It was kind of a gimmick though, because you had to wait so long for it to clean and be ready for the next person, which was very frustrating when ...
