A travel blog entry by gregor28 on Jun 22, 2015

Our road trip from our home in Vancouver across British Columbia to Tofino was sure a lot of fun and a lot of the driving experience was enhanced, thanks to the use of the inbuilt GPS system in our van. I arrived mid-afternoon ...

... I wish I could have gotten a picture! The chicken is stacked onto a long sword looking thing and the slowly roasted all while adding more spices. Then they shave off a massive helping and wrap it up in flat bread with a yogurt sauce, and your choice of lettuce, onion, pickles, tomato and spice. I earned some respect points when I said yes to spice. (Little wins!) This thing was so (as I apparently started saying ...

... and got there at about 3pm. I toured the whole main square in about half an hour, so I decided to walk up to the castle. The castle, I had read, was destroyed and rebuilt a number of times, most recently under communist rule. As you might imagine, communists tend to build really disinteresting, blocky buildings, and that’s pretty much what the Bratislava castle is. In fact, they call it the "upside-down table" due to the four square towers at its ...
