    ... AJ and BJ waited patiently in the car. Once they had finished their lunch and returned to the car they headed the van back out across the prairie. Without warning the prairie suddenly dropped away as they travelled down into a river valley. The group arrived at a great big building that was called a 'Laboratory.'

    Heading east again this year, with Josh, Melody and Bronwyn along for the ride. We planned to leave at 9am but didn't get on our way till not too bad a start. I had to make two trips to pick up Josh's luggage and people...I have too small a car to carry 3 large suitcases, 3 backpacks, assorted bags of food and 3 people....hence the delay.     Up in time to have breakfast at the hotel. We caught the Light Rail into town to go up Calgary Tower. Good view of surrounds, lovely and green, but the mountains were mostly obscured by the clouds. Needed our Jackets this morning, it is summer here after all! Cold and windy with occasional showers.
