Our first day of the trip and I'm so tired I can hardly think straight. But, Oh, the excitement! We're finally on our way.
Robert drove to the pass, where we hit the first road construction of the trip and I drove the rest of the way to Ken and Pat's place in Indus, near Calgary. We had a great visit with them and got to meet Henry, Charlene and Karl's son, for the first time. He's six months old. Such a cutie! Pat made a really nice family dinner on our second evening ...
... wasn't bad on the C-Train - we only had to wait for a couple and we were back before 1:00 a.m. Long day for us old folks. But the show that they put on was World Class. I felt like I was at the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics!
