... exciting as you could only see a couple of parts of the track. The bus driver assured us it is much more interesting if there is a train coming through but no such luck this time.
Our third and final stop, again for just 30 minutes was Takkaw Falls. On the way there was a very sharp double switchback where the bus was not able to turn so it had to drive backwards up the second uphill road before going forward again at the third road. We ...

... a great Butter Chicken Curry if we wanted him to do that for a Birthday treat instead! It sounded a great idea, so Ryan and Phil nipped to Safeway and then he made the curry. He lived in India for a year when Jasmyn was younger so the curry, as you can imagine, was delicious!! A lovely way to end my birthday!

It was quite late after we had eaten so we just chatted and relaxed and then off to bed we went, excited not to set our alarm for the morning!!

      Banff and Lake Louise

... high tea. Beautiful setting by a window overlooking a river and those mountains! The town of Banff is full of cute shops and boutiques. We only touched the surface of things to do here. This whole area has risen to the top of my list of national parks. It is simply amazing. Tonight we had storms, rain, thunder and lightening. Good night for another episode of The Game of Thrones, Season ...
