I AMsterdam!
Amsterdam was lots of fun. I love this city. It has international cuisine, great museums, fun nightlife, and all sorts of people. In fact, the only thing I really didn't like about this city was the hotel where I stayed. The room was tiny, dark, dirty, and up about a million stairs.

... museum is also good for giving a bit of hostory as well. There was even a fashion show on when i was there.
Overall i really enjoyed my time in Amsterdam and had an amazing time with my first couchsurfing experience. I would definetely reccomend Amsterdam as the starting point of a European trip. There are easy connections to pretty much everywhere in Europe and the flights are often cheap as it is a major transport hub.

... the Van Gogh Museum, the old city gate castle, but none of that really stood out as super interesting and different from all the other old buildings and castles that we’ve seen on this trip, unfortunately. Our tour guide was very interesting though, and kept us entertained. The Good, The Rotten, and the Promiscuous Amsters
... because they had never seen anything like it. Can you imagine the shock when the theives broke in? I am pretty sure that nothing was taken....I hope? So what do Joshua and I do when all this craziness ensues? We take pictures like giddy tourists. We just posted one picture because we didn't want to creep everyone out. So you'll have to check it out. By the way, the owner never came home that day, and the police took down the information, and then sloooowwwly walked away.

... intimidated by this, and unfortunately he spoke about as much English as I can speak French. It was a short, quiet taxi ride to my hostel where I crashed immediately. 12 hours of travel and I was completely cooked.
