    ... described, the Best Western was on a street behind the Marriott. We checked in, but unfortunately our room wasn't ready for us yet. It was surprising, really, since we did that hour long walk about before we got there. Off we went for a quick bite and a glass of Heineken. It is the local beer.     ... tub (see photo). The rest of the day will also be a time for R and R and nothing else.

    We had dinner with our new friends, Ruth and Jimbo Smith from North Carolina. We had dinner in the Polo Grill and it was fantastic. You can see Melissa with her veal chop the size of a steak. (See photo). And, we topped it off with desert for all. (See Melissa and Ruth in photo inspecting the multi faceted desert.)

    At this point, I'm still living the same day as the previous entry. I sort of chose the dividing line myself at the point at which I woke up from sleep on the flight to Amsterdam. I had a normal seat on the Entebbe - Amsterdam leg, but thankfully I had a free seat next to me. These Airbus A330's seem to be a bit tight on KLM versions. From what I've seen in the Netherlands, the people are very tall in the land. You would think that the Dutch culture would appreciate ...
