      Ok so ill start off by saying im not much of a city person. I much prefer being close to nature and in smaller towns where there are not hordes of people everywhere.       ... roof top bar so we went up there for a drink before going out for our farewell dinner. We saw one of the cruise ships leaving - they are so big that we could see it over the rooftops of Venice from the rooftop bar. It looked like it was sailing down between the houses.       ... We were taken to a lace store where a lady was working on a very intricate piece of lace. It was explained to us that each lady would be a master a certain stitch so any one piece of lace could take up to seven women to complete. This is a dying art as the young women are not learning from their mothers and grandmothers any longer. We watched the master seamstress for awhile and then we took a tour of the shop.
