    ... place we see! Haha.
The waiter arrives and takes our order. I order 12 slices of pizza thinking that they were small slices but instead huge pizza slices arrive and even though we first thought we would struggle to eat them we finished them off.

We are sitting at Milan airport and enjoying the cool change - only mid 30's today and reading the Melbourne papers that tell me we are landing at 530am on a day when the max is likely to be 5 or 6 degrees....imagine how cold it will be at 530am at the airport....heavy coat is ready

Salvaging some cardboard from a nearby fruit shop, we fashioned ourselves a thin mattress and slept under the stars, Wendy and I taking shifts to watch our packs as the kids slept. Fortunately the weather was warm and there was no sign of rain. ...

Ok this is starting to border on the ridiculous, awaking to another fine day in a picture perfect Italy. With a blagged breakfast inside of me, I nervously await the arrival of the Como cycling club who are going to lead me on my bike tour up to the Ghisallo Di Madonna and Col Tivarno. I am somewhat apprehensive given that it's already 27degrees at 8am, the climb is famous for its multiple switchbacks and rather disconcertingly for me, ...
