Late start to the day after late night. Enjoyed breakfast in the apartment and then headed to the lake. Lovely swimming spot with grassy places to sit under the trees and a small strip of 'sand' (mainly rocks and dirt really but still fun to play in with a bucket and spade) as well as a playground (still no monkey bars seen in Germany) and a place to buy coffee ...

... hear the pouring rain outside, that it was probably a good idea. I wouldn't like to be camping in this!

We continued riding along the river, with the mountains in the background until we came to Freilassing, well we passed it and the decided to ride back as the weather was just getting so bad and cold and wet and we didn't have the right gear for the ride. ... hostel was quite nice. it was called Jufa and had the sound of music posters everywhere, and each night from 8pm it screened the film. Paul and I missed it unfortunately. The hostel also runs sound of music tours which visit all of the places that the film was shot.
