Masses of jumbled power lines, graffiti, sewer running through the streets, piles of rubbish every 20 meters, families, shops selling food and drinks, jewelery, S#*T just brushed shoulders with a gang of dealers with multiple hand guns strapped to their belts!! ... as strictly and as often as I should have. Sometimes I remembered, sometimes I didn´t. It was easy to be lax when we seriously didn´t see any mosquitos and folks even told us there are no mosquitos in that part. Well, there was at least one. ... actually get it home...but it was worth it. I unwrapped it, plugged it in and connected the water supply and got her working. I did some 7 loads in the first 24 hours. ... and we leave at 13.00 tomorrow (9th March). The trip is 21 hours stopping in Sau Paulo, but we´ve been assured its a decent bus with water, coffee and snacks. Plan on doing a few days safari in the Pantanal before crossing into Bolivia. We´re both quite excited and apprehensive about it as ít´ll be the first bit of real travelling!
