When we awoke this morning, we could hardly believe it. The weather system that had passed through yesterday ushered in very cool, dry air and clear skies. The high temperature might have reached 68-degrees later in the afternoon, so we took advantage of the ideal conditions and decided to ride the bus to the Luxembourg Gardens, one of our favorite spots in Paris.

... has had until you take your first sip and Surprise. As if the taste alone was not enough, those tiny little balls of chocolate have floated to the top - how does that happen? Simple: they are filled with honeycomb. So its chocolate, cream and then chocolate and honeycomb.
Ya gotta love the french!!!

... We made it to le centre Pompidou and realized it was the last weekend for the Roy Lichtenstein exhibit. We waited in a very long line but we made it in and saw some amazing art. I've seen a pattern emerge with gage. He complains about the activity no matter what it is prior to arrival and then once we get there he thoroughly enjoys himself. ... amazing. 360o across the whole of Paris, and staring straight back at the Eiffel Tower. The weather was sensational; about 24c and scattered cloud with clear air and views for miles. We were a bit spent after only 2 attractions today so we jumped back on the metro and got home at around 4pm. The Grand Palais seats were one of the largest sections, with seats being designated for this tour company, and another (further from the finish line) area for various sponsors and their guests. Whatever the cause, finding 2 seats together was increasingly difficult, and people were increasingly covetous of any open seat. So we made sure we always had one of us there to guard ours.
