    Felt much better this morning after a good night's sleep. A leisurely start to the day with a departure time of 9am- very civilized. Most of the day is spent traveling on motorways as we head south to the Amalfi Coast. We pass a number of very big solar farms that have fields of solar panels generating electricity.     ... of Sorrento and Mt Vesuvius in the distance. It was a beautiful sunset. The food and drink flowed with most guests coming dressed all in white. At 10pm the ship horn sounded to let us know we were sailing south.

    Overnight we will head south down to the narrow strait between the toe of the boot of Italy and Sicily. The Captain has told us this is a difficult passage because of the currents and traffic.
