Travel Blogs from Luanda

Kinshasa to Luanda, Angola (FNLU)

A travel blog entry by worldmaddog

We went back to the West Coast of Africa, to the capital of Angola, Luanda
Angola was the focus of a bloody civil war in the 1970s between pro Communists and pro American factions, and Luanda was the focus of some heavy bombardment.
Todays flight was performed in an A300 accompanied by an A321.
Good flying conditions, and a straight in approach to runway 23 to capture ILS.
Next stop, Lusaka, Zambia!
