    ... in very select few places in Switzerland, and apparently Lauterbrunnen is one of those locations. May have to suss that out! - Swinss Francs are strange. They have a 5 franc coin instead of a note. I don't know what their cents are called, so I call them Frankencents! Unfortunately no snow down here at the moment, but it's bloody freezing cold, so we all have our fingers crossed for a bit tomorrow but there are no guarantees. We'll see. Until then! ...

    So…you know when in University you were always told to 'backup’ your work. Ya..that would be some good and sensible Mama Histon advice. Do you think THIS particular Mama Histon had headed that advice…??? NOPE.

    Mama Histon would also have said,

    “Ask someone to fix it Karin!” – very good advice, my track record with IT is dubious at best ...

    ... very many photos, being almost the last train - that is what happens tourist season, on the way up I almost had the train to myself.

    Back to Interlaken and I am in awe of the day had, the sun didn’t leave the mountain and views are just too hard to describe, I drop by the hotel with my warm clothes, as I did need them up there, the sun was out but it was cold in particular in that ice palace, my lips went purple.

    ... through Gstaad) with farmhouses dotted along the hills in between. The valleys were narrow, the grass was so green, the mountain sides were steep and huge. The mist was rolling in and out. There were cows with bells, geese, sometimes sheep all grazing on the steep hills sides. The road was very windy and narrow and it seems the Swiss aren’t too concerned with staying in their lane.     ... made our way down the river by rappelling, sliding down chutes and jumping into pools along with some walking through the river and over rocks. It was great fun. We got a little water logged, in our noses, ears, lungs. But it was fun. A little more Swiss adventure before we head back to the city.

    Had dinner and chocolate fondue in Interlaken, then packed and to bed exhausted again. Fun day!

    Tomorrow we say goodbye to Switzerland. But we will be ...
