Today we travelled to Basel to meet our good friend Peter, from our long ago stay in Norfolk. We had lost touch for various reasons over the years, and our trip proved to be a wonderful opportunity to meet again. We faced a four hour train journey, but it was booked first class, and did travel through the alps, so it passed pleasantly and quickly, and we were soon reunited with Peter, who had kindly offered to ...

There were little waterfalls everywhere which go under the road and look very pretty.

Once we had cooled down we made our way back to Basel airport to pick up our hire car for our imminent Belgium driving trip. Kev did a fantastic job of driving back to Gränichen for the night and by the time we were home we were all pretty tired.
