... time to feel I’m getting my money’s worth… I just don’t feel I’ve got the energy for that right now… so I settle for a pleasant stroll down a long, tree-lined plaza and a swim in the beach. Then I head back up to the bus station and get on a bus to Nerja, officially ending my Malaga Superhike. Reflections on a Superhike The 145 kilometer Malaga Superhike which stretched from Fuengirola to Velez Malaga (with lots of wandering ...

... Once at the top next to the entrance to the castle we saw that there was a road there, with public bus service. Yes we felt just like we felt when we saw the elevator. Wow the Mediterranean is absolutely beautiful. After our awesome day at Gibraltar it was another amazing discovery seeing the Med for the first time. It was raining and miserable when we arrived in Velez Malaga but there were glimpses of the sea. I was astounded that right along the coastline as far as the eye can see there is units and townhouses and high rise units. They are seriously everywhere, I expect this coastline is horrendous during the summer months. When we got up ...

Michele, Gillian, Peppa and I all had breakfast outside on the balcony again. It's so nice there, warm, maybe even too warm by the time we need to leave at 9:30 AM. I like these ladies! Peppa is quite an accomplished painter—she had told Michele about a week-long show she just completed in France (she’s living in France right now), but she didn't want us to say anything to the other painters (maybe because it would sound like boasting). Michele is quite ...
