... Sankeshwar, it was around 10.00 pm at night. I guess from Sankeshwar, NH - 4 starts. We had our dinner at Nipani and dozed off. Another major city which comes en route is, Kolhapur. We reached Pune at 4 am in the morning. From the bus stand, we headed straight to Hotel Kundan Palace. The total journey lasting for around 8 hours, was a long one.
... After a short wander around a couple of malls we went to an area of many offices, which is where many big companies are such as British gas and aviva. In the centre of all the offices was a lovely park, where we sat for a while, listening to the patriotic Indian songs pumping out of the speakers.
It was such a lovely and relaxing day. I'm so lucky to have met such lovely people already, and a shame I'm already leaving them, but I shall return again one day!
... br> On Monday I decided to give couch surfing a go, sending a message to the local Pune group to ask if anyone was free to show me around... Of course I had a few dodgy sounding responses, including a guy who wanted to come meet me and take some pics of me(!)... The draft version of the day-wise travel plan was shared with DOW and Mahindra on May 18, 2014 for their inputs and suggestions. Based on the valuable inputs received it underwent certain alterations until May 25,2014 when it was finalised and frozen - 20 days before the launch day of June 13,2014.

Cut up the veggie in small bits
In a pan fry garlic and salt and a cut up green chillie. Add mustard seed, turmeric, and red chillie powder. Add Goda Masala. (pinches of all these spices!) Then add the veggie, add a little water. Cover the pot and on low heat let it all steam for a while…now make your chipatis!
