We found out today that the dance we are doing is called Gambyong and that it is a welcome dance often performed at opening ceremonies, weddings, etc. We went to Cha Cha for dinner tonight and it was not very good. The food is so salty that it makes my feet/calves swollen and the cumi was not very good tonight. And their Internet is kind of slow. Was a super busy weekend for all of us! We can't believe we only have 2 weeks of placement left. Friday night: We planned to meet with Mily (Malek's mom) again because she wanted take us to a local Batik store called Javanir around 7pm. Today we went to some local Hindu temples: Candi Sukuh and Candi Ceto. The were both small but it was kind of nice because they weren't as crowded as Borobudur and Prambanan. I really enjoyed Candi Sukuh. I could have stayed at the top forever, it was so peaceful. I had a lot of fun taking pictures. After seeing the temple we had lunch.
