We spent the weekend in Bretagne, one day in Nantes, and a few days in the sea resort town of La Baule, spending some quality time with family, taking the sun, enjoying the food and exploring the surroundings.

A much nicer day…firstly we went a few miles down the road to Saille where there was a salt farm that gave a tour, so we paid our 5 euros and went in with another group who had just arrived. We watched a video on how the salt was produced and collected (with English on our headsets) and then the chappie demonstrated on a working model (all in French) then a big screen film ...
