... isn't appropriate dress for when it is 4 degrees outside, but was convenient for when we arrived.

I rented some shoes and we climbed around for about an hour and a half until everyone was stuffed. The gym was purely bouldering and was pretty small, but the set up was pretty good.The walk home was even worse. The temperature had dropped dramatically and i was freezing. Note to self. Bariloche is cold when it approaches ...

... in the plaza and Easter Mass in the evening. The service was rather intense, lasting nearly 90 minutes and contained some slightly painful guitar accompaniment to a long list of hymns. The people of Neuquen seemed content with proceedings, packing out the aisles, as Sam struggled to stay awake...

... this tent just doesn't work with rain, oups...). Sander, a guy from Belgium that was cycling around South America for 6 month was finishing his trip and gave me his tent. So I never tried my ****** one and gave it to 2 guys I met twice hitchhiking (I was fair, I told them about the rain situation with the tent ;).

... and Peter a chicken pizza which turned out to be a load of ham on a base of chicken with a covering of cheese, which we ate in Gerty. (They love their meat in Argentina). At midnight the town was woken by half an hour of firecrackers and very load explosions with no pretty lights in the sky.

With another couple of museums closed for the holidays we abandoned our dinosaur foray and headed back west to Villa Pehuenia on the shores of Lago ...
