This morning I found the reception lady to pay what I owed (4 euros), and then took off to Zilina, the first stop of the day. I started the day with a breakfast at the camping at 7am, as I forgot to think about where the sun would rise, and sure thing it had turned my tent into a sauna by 6:45. I then proceeded to set off for Trencin, with the target of making it before noon. We drop down into a broad valley and take the road towards the Kremnica. In the tour research I had noted a lovely looking hotel, the Penzion Stefanshof. It lies just outside the town of Kremnica in the hills to the east.
Slovakia continues to wow us with her beauty. Driving through the countryside today, we saw dense evergreen forests, flat farmland and rolling hills. All of it looking lush and fertile in various shades of green.
