The next day was New Years Eve. We just waited till 1:00pm to have a late lunch/dinner at a restaurant.

      Now it is 2015, yay.

We skyped family and then we went to a place called Dinan.
It was all closed because of New Years so we walked around the old buildings and city walls. ...

We parked in the new car park 3km away as the old one flooded too much with the rising tides. Caught the shuttle over and wandered around this amazing rocky island.
It was low tide while we were there so ...

... it's the same bus driver that dropped me off this morning so this had to be the bus. I asked if this bus went to Rennes. He said, "Oh no. It doesn't arrive until 5:40pm." It's off season so you need to read this part of the timetable. ****!!!!! I missed the bus AND I'm going to miss my train. I did everything I could not to panic. I asked the bus driver my options. He proceeded to tell me I could go to the town which this bus goes to, Dol De Bretagne, which is ...

After breakfast, head to the tiny town of Mont St. Michel, connected by causeway to the mainland and home to only a few dozen full-time residents. Enjoy an included tour of the medieval town and its eleventh century Romanesque Abbey, world-famous for its dramatic clifftop perch, as well as its rich history. Breton legend has it that the archangel Michael appeared to Aubert, the local bishop, in 708 AD and demanded that a church be built on this stony promontory, ...
