... set of an ear piercing alarm, which I did 3 times. Brutal. Off at 6.30am -12 hour drive ahead. Tonight we play some festival in Amsterdam. Can I play trumpet while sleeping? We'll call it performance art. Nice music listening experiences so far: - Ornette Coleman - ferry to Denmark - David Behrman-misty bridge crossing islands in Denmark, - Grouper - after 3 hr sleep -van to ...

We had sort of a free day today. We started with Winfried and the bird watching group but left them at their first stop. A group of seven of us headed to the lighthouse at the end of the island. The three of us climbed to the top and essentially ...

Found the site easily enough even though I had forgotten the address. It was further out of the way than we expected which was nice. The temperature was around 32c when we arrived so we enjoyed laying out in the shade and going for a dip in the murky river. After a bbq we spent the evening sat next to the river and watched the sunset, perfect start to our hols and we stayed in Heeg for 3 ...

Hans and Anka picked up us at the hotel about 9:30. We went to visit the parents of Anka and Nieske. Their mother Gepke and Joel's father John were cousins. Their mothers were sisters. John's mother Bertha was the only one in her family to emigrate to the U.S. In 1910 after marrying Joe Kooistra.
Even though Gepke never visited the U.S. because of poor health, her English is perfect. She is 88 years old. Her husband ...
