Had no trouble getting up for the 7.30 alarm as the noise from the road had woken me up well before then! I feel like I am sleeping on the pavement. Grumpy as shower was cold and in ordet to ask for the hot water to be turned on (which you shouldn't have to do in the morning) you need to get dressed, and quite frankly when you are already dressed..... We sat in the real hot spring for quite a while in the morning, somehow I always find it a bit scary: what if that constant stream of hot air from the earth decides to burst? But of course it's fine.
Right next to it was a natural turkish steam bath (un turco), with steam from the hot water running underneath the wooden floorboards. Wow! That was lovely.

For lunch we shared a club sandwich which was enough for two.

We spent this morning with a very informative and interesting guide who showed us around Medellin, giving us great insight into the impact of the drug cartels and in particular Pablo Escobar.
