          I have been on many an escorted tour in my time, but Lauanda wins the all time prize, and has moved 'escorted' to another level.

          We docked at Luanda early this morning. It is tropical so weather is gorgeously warm if slightly overcast. The port is quite large and surround with hills that are plastered with low level housing and townships. The centre has some modern high rise that we can see.           When I got over to the domestic terminal, they said my name wasn't on the list for the domestic flight. They said not to worry. They took my passport to the office and said they would get me on the flight to Cabinda.

          They came back and I was able to get a ticket. While I was waiting in the lounge, I noticed I was on the afternoon flight and not the morning flight. I really didn't ...
