... parents and getting ready to go on a cruise. It was really good to sit down with her for a chat.

Rainer and Carole joined us at the train station as they were also heading off to Berlin by train. We booked an ICE train for a quick ride back to Mannheim, but were given an IC train instead. Before we had even left we had a 10 minute delay and no seating reservation. As we arrived in Göttingen, only halfway into the journey, the train started ...

We caught the train to hamburg and then another train to the airport, my suitcase was so heavy! And as it does wheel anymore, I was literally dragging it everywhere! Lena helped me but I felt so bad as I knew it was so heavy! I had far too much luggage, so first thing we did was try ...

... of sleeping with a biker! Once we had got used to the idea it was fine, and as it turns out he was nice enough, but had little English so conversation was lacking. And so it was time to turn in and the boys went out like a light, but unfortunately the same couldn't be said for us as every rattle and squeak and passing high speed train echoed through the cabin. It was going to be a long ...
