Hit the road early via the Brenner Pass to Innsbruck Austria then crossed the mountains into Germany. We changed our mind about going to France due to the weather forecast and flooding. I will leave here wiser because of my aunts and Alberto's mom and their solid example of perseverance in the face of anything, their dedication to family, their commitment to principles and tradition ...

... and dancing. Even my aunts got into the spirit and joined the conga line and were constantly being dragged in to dance. Truth be told, I think they loved it!! The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of. A young man I didn't even know dragged me into a conga line!! My cousin Antonio was in his glory. I don't know how many ...
