We drove to Tropea this morning and visited the old town and then went on to the beach beyond Sta Domenica. The weather was gorgeous and 28c and swimming was fab in the warm sea!
On on the way back we stopped at Pizzo and viewed the Chiaso Piedigrotto. This is a church that has been carved into the rock. Unfortunately it wasn't open, although apparently it should have been! We could see a bit of the carvings through the gates!

Finally arrived after a long plane voyage. All has gone well. We are staying in Coreca at Lido, condos that are rented out and directly across from the ocean. The train tracks are in between the condo and the ocean. You just have to walk through the tunnels under the tracks and you are at the ocean.
