... life. While sitting here on the balcony having a coffee I noticed some climbers on the cliff opposite and then noticed a magical walk along the edge of the mountain.

Spotting these climbers was just plain luck and it makes one realise just how massive that mountain really is but then I noticed something else that made the whole cliff seem even more massive and that something else was a rather large house built right on the cliff thousands of feet up. How the hell did ...

Drove to Toblach in the Dolomites and entered that fantastic National Park. Stunning ...

This waterfall was beautiful - cascading from way above over rocky portions. Really neat! Of course, to get to the other side, you had to walk right through the rapid water - over lots of rocks! And then - of course, we had to take a group ...

... br> parallel to the main motorway (which appeared to be elevated on concrete piers
most of its route). The motorway was busy and even the local road was busy, Not
pleasant driving. This is a main north-south arterial route.

Stopped at Camping Corones. Luxurious site, with heated
sanitary facilities and a heated outdoor pool, but somehow we did not like it.
Full of Germans and very “ordered” parking.
