Just a quick note to let you know we've started a new blog. We left Savannah on 8/31, flew to Philadelphia, then overnight to Zurich. Yesterday we checked into our hotel near the airport then took the tram downtown. We had lunch and walked by all the high end stores on Bahnhofstrasse until it started to rain ...

We walked up and down the streets, ate at a lovely cafe, and then they put me on a train to the airport (which I handled without any difficulty at all). Again my hosts were more than generous, and I can't thank them enough!

... someone drive you around and tell you in ENGLISH what is going was priceless! We met the bus at 930 at a parking lot about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We chose our meal and were put on a tour bus that was filled with a mostly Asians. The majority of people spoke English which was great!! We took off and did a quick tour of Zürich on the way out to some back roads to the mountain. On the bus were 3 separate tours, each with their own tour guide. We had Evillynn. She ...
