    ... in summer. Passed worst of crowds to a quieter bay at the end. Heavy rain and strong winds in arvo but settled down after dusk. Dropped anchor about 50m offshore and rowed in to yacht club.     ... the water was so salty!! We got back to the shore around 5pm, and headed back to the hotel to relax for a bit before we headed out to our Ionian dinner experience. This was so fun!! We were served a 4 course Greek dinner, and they had lots of traditional dancing and activities. Everyone joined in and it was a lot of fun. I was told it's basically like being at a Greek wedding.     ... to eat lunch on the hoof. Then the wind got up...yeah! Bob took the helm and, in an increasingly rough sea with lots of white horses, we reached a roller coaster of 8 knots. Sim and Chris acted as ballast sitting on the side to balance the boat, a challenge for Bob was to soak them! Sailing went on for about 2 hours - we were knackered!
