... multimedia presentations illustrated aspects of his life. I didn't realise he travelled so much or how difficult it was to travel by coach in the 18th century. His sister was also a gifted musician. The Hop On Hop Off bus took us through a tunnel to the south side of the peak on which stands the fortress. We could see a number of beautiful palaces and country estates from the top so we were keen to investigate. The only ...

Had a great breakfast there today. When I first came I had 1/2 of a roll for breakfast. Then I moved up to 1 roll, then 1 1/2 and today it was a 2 roll morning. Yikes. We walked in downtown Munich shopping in the rain. We went back to the Hof Brau house hoping my jacket was ...

        ... the sights.

We saw the childhood home of Mozart - Jack suggested that we buy it and live there. I told him we would put it "on the short list"...but since it doesn't have a pool, it might not work out.

Tomorrow we are headed to check out the fortress in town, a palace, and then some massive playground near here. I can't wait - from what we've seen so far, I can already tell this is going to be ...
