    Traveling woes

... 20 year olds hanging out in what I would call gothic attire. As I was doing laundry they would in turn just scream - not in pain or for help, just like releasing frustration at the world. My thought is maybe they are just trying to scare the tourists - it was beginning to work on me. I finished and ensured I was on the other side of the street with other tourists when I passed this crew. Made it to the hotel, and had a nice club sandwich and beer at the Dominican Hotel. Great night ...

    Antwerp, Belgium

    MAY 3, 2014 - SIXTH DAY

Up early again for breakfast at 8:00. The food has been way too good & too plentiful. We wanted to go on the Belgian Chocolate, Waffles & Beer tour, but it was full. Nick, our Cruise Director, added an additional tour so all who wanted to go on that tour were accommodated. Nick is a wonderful Director and works really hard to make happen whatever any of his 150 cruisers desire. He is also really cute and friendly. We walked from the ...

We had to get into the mindset of shopping and asking for things in French again. Hard to believe that in just over an hour or so we were actually in another country. Just for the afternoon.

The beach was beautiful, not too hot and the weather had cleared from this morning. We got some beautiful photos and it was hard to believe that this beach was the historical one that ...

... good. But strong - with a bit of lemon, they ended up being quit good. The beer is strong ... I have a buzz at 3pm! After a bit of shopping, I headed to St Salvatorskerkhof. The one thing I really like about Belgian churches is: they play music throughout. And it completely changes the vibe. Most cathedrals in Europe- feel like a museum of things past. However, which the music, it actually feels like a house of worship. If it wasn't so cold, I could sit here all ...

    Fishy Feet

Today once we woke up in Blankenberge and painted the town red! Well figuratively speaking there was almost nothing to do but the white sandy beach was beautiful! My highlight was getting a fishy pedicure. Maybe some of you have heard of this, you sit with your feet in a fish tank and the small fish nibble away the rough skin! I know it sounds gross and it felt really weird but it was a neat thing to experience and I would recommend it, but it feels wweeeiiirdddd, be ...
