The second day in Amsterdam we went to the Diamond museum, the Van Gogh museum and we checked out the red light district.

The Diamond museum was tons of fun. It explained the history of how they found diamonds and the process of cutting and polishing the stones. They also had a bunch of royal crowns and jewels on display to show how the styles of the diamonds have changed over time.

... the streets! We decided to just watch it in the hostel where we would most likely see it. However, once we got to the hostel, everyone went their own ways. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the Facebook of my friend Corey and now I don't know if I will ever see those awesome pictures he had on his camera! We got to within 800m of the hotel and the system told us to turn right (which we did) only to find that the road was lifted vertically so a barge ...

... Other oddities include a 6 foot red rabbit in a back garden and some strange robot sculpture.... We are now sipping G & T in a field with the sounds of livestock close at hand..as well as the melodic chimes from a local church.. Our B & B is a beautifully restored farmhouse with all mod cons and surrounded by lovely countryside. Tomorrow BIKES.....windmills and a 43k cycle ride to the Dutch ...

    Fishy Feet

Today once we woke up in Blankenberge and painted the town red! Well figuratively speaking there was almost nothing to do but the white sandy beach was beautiful! My highlight was getting a fishy pedicure. Maybe some of you have heard of this, you sit with your feet in a fish tank and the small fish nibble away the rough skin! I know it sounds gross and it felt really weird but it was a neat thing to experience and I would recommend it, but it feels wweeeiiirdddd, be ...
