    ... was admitted to a language school and was allowed to study French. Upon graduation, she applied for jobs but as soon as the company checked her history, the job was suddenly filled. She became scared since the law was that any person unemployed was eligible for arrest. Finally, she was able to get a job with the first foreign hotel to open in the city (the InterContinental).

    ... that you weren’t. This was almost a razor back, so narrow was the ridge and it eventually joined the main part of the Beacons. The view was extensive but we didn’t linger because a heavy bank of fog was quickly rolling over the Beacons towards us. We also meandered around the crumbing castle ruin at Longtown.

    ... this turned out to be useful, as on the last afternoon we had there, we had the camera stolen in the streets of the city :( so we spent the entire next day in the police station trying to sort out a police report.... Blegh!!! An amazing place to see, experience and as long as you didn't crave customer service or have loose fingers with your things... The people were alright too :s haha Thank you very much Prague and now we continue onto the muchly anticipated Berlin!! ...

    ... long ago with such fine detail and without modern machinery to assist. A lot of the buildings in old central Prague are 5,6 and 7 stories high with lots of statues. Saw a snippet of a music concert in the main music hall today. Wonderful. Tricia even enjoyed it even though it was classical music.
