          ... walk around by ourselves and see it covered in white powder. It was very beautiful.
          On our third day we started an overnight trip down into the canyon. Once down the bottom we realised that the river had grown from the slim sliver we had peered at from the top, into a torrent 40m across, giving us a new appreciation for the size of it all.           Lots of planes and helicopters last night. Bob wants to have a surface to air missile to shoot them down.

          We called our friends Fran and Roy Vardy who live nearby in Gilbert and invited them over for dinner tonight. Other than that we just enjoyed the beautiful Arizona weather and did some sight-seeing at the local Walmart.

          ... and for 3 bills of John’s. After promising me they could fix it at my CU I drove 8 miles for their help. And they could not do it! They did give me a clue or two and when I arrived home I was able to finally get it done, except, it was paid on the 27th under the old plan, and then paid again when I got it ‘fixed’!! I called the main office and they tried to fix that but could not so everyone is getting a double check this ...
