In the chaparral section of the trails there is a desert oasis, which was perfectly complimented with a boat containing several Chihuly pieces with more ice-shaped glass floating in the water. It was an amazing oasis and pop of color among the reeds and we sat for a bit just taking it all in.       About a 35 minute ride to the hotel(what is it with people getting in the middle lane and going 5 mph below the posted speed limit??? ARGH) and I arrived.
