... to look around. We stop and ask an old women's for directions. She speaks highly accented Italian and I think she has loose false teeth, but she confirms "sinistra" (left) and "poi destra" (then right), and we realise we have climbed too far. We soon find the station. First I buy the tickets for us on the helpful machine which speaks English if you ask it to. A typical Italian breakfast, where fortunately we have arrive early enough for the precooked omelettes to be warm, includes packets of cereal, cakes, cheese and ham. ... beautiful beaches all along the coast line. There are also around us the towns of Camerano, Osimo, Montefano, Castelfidardo, to name a few and they all have stunning churches , cathedrals or abbeys in them. We stopped in the little town of Loreto another town, to get some groceries and there was an amazing abbey and who should we see as we enter the shop but two real Friar Tucks straight out of the story books with brown robs tied around the middle and small brown caps. It made me ...

Today we needed to get off Atola. This had to be done by 9.00 PM. Given the fact that we had done all our essentials the previous day, we made the deadline very easily. On the whole everybody had a very relaxing night, except Ray. As with the previous blogs he has been suffering badly, and last night was no exception, and to cap it all off he had a crook back as well. When Ray did get out of bed, he too had to go and have a good spew over the back of the ...
