Greetings from the big MO (Missouri, not the person). i flew in on Wednesday night for a set of 6 interviews on Friday. thank goodness i am anal retentive about executing a good plan, in that i allocated myself Thursday as a buffer. my itinerary was to fly from NJ to Charlotte, NC. then from NC onto st. Louis. there were storms in NC,and it was snowing in st. Louis, so i knew there was going to be some type of travel drama ...

... and met up with some friends he keeps in touch with and some of his classmates he hasn't seen since they've left school.

We spent lots of time with our 5 nephews, including the newest, baby Patrick who also had his baptism while we were in town.

We had lots of fun, ate lots of food and spent some quality time with our family before we move Down Under!

We are home after about 29 hours of travel. Our flight out of BCN was delayed for one hour because it was overweight. And NOT because I ate too many croissants! American Airlines, in it's wisdom, had changed all of it's Airbuses to smaller planes, effective Nov 15. But the cargos had already been planned. 29 Nov...I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and gave thanks =) Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday, too !!!

If you have never been to St Louis, then you've never been to St Louis, Ha, ha (Just kidding). If you've never been to St Louis you should rob a bank (especially for all the Australians far away) and go. Not that we are recommending and/or condoning robbing banks.

Okay, St. Louis entry will be short, mostly because we were only there for less than 12 hours. We pulled up around 10, got lost in some abandoned warehouse district (why is it when one gets lost (thanks GPS) that it's always in an abandoned warehouse district?), then arrived at our destination.
