I went in to soak in the onsen for a few minutes and then came out again and had another shower. It did feel good but I don't think I could do it if it was a full of other people.

It is rare to ever be in that total darkness these days, and so I made sure I kept tight to the right hand wall as recommended. ... below. We had to buy a meal ticket first that had your particular food, hand the ticket over and then wait 2 minutes for the food to be heated up in a microwave. I had fried rice for 550 yen and Joseph had his schnitzel or tonkatsu sandwich. After lunch, we made our way back to the Tunnel Trolley Bus station and through to Ogizawa. From there, we caught a taxi to Shinano Omachi to collect our luggage. The taxis cost Owen ...
