Patagonia was somewhere we both really wanted to visit but were not sure how much we would get to cover as we only had 23 days in total for Argentina. An overnight bus from Mendoza brought us to our first stop of Bariloche.

The Argentine lake districts largest City is breathtakingly stunning. Beautiful lakes and lofty mountain peaks surround the centre which has a real Swiss feel to it with shop and restaurant ...

We did not make many observations yesterday , since we were keeping an eye out on the radiator, to see if matters would not get worse, but apart from the initial 250 km the landscape was unimpressiv. Today is not better, most of the time it is flat and ...

The Mad Dash

So holy **** there we were, Laura and I, stuck in El Calafate for way longer than we intended, our patience and faith in the road maintenance during the winter running low. On the day we thought we could mission it to Rio Turbio, a small border town 20 clicks outside of Puerto Natales, we were shut down yet again. No freakin, frackin buses. Ok. After some long debate debate as to which direction to go to get outta town, whether north ...
