In the afternoon we booked another night at Periko's, then wandered around downtown. We stopped in at a recommended chocolate shop called Rapa Nui and it was rammed with customers for a reason. The treats were sweet and delicious, including 'Fra-Nui', burst-in-your-mouth fresh raspberries coated in white chocolate then dark chocolate ...
In Bariloche but with a heavy heart
... the Nahuel Huapi Lake on which Bariloche is located. These websites can do more justice to show the beauty of this location than any of my attempts at describing. The scenery is way more spectacular and the temperature warmer (although a bit cooler than BA) than I had anticipated (although overnight it blew and rained and this a.m. was actually windbreaker weather) I have now got a cold, the first one of my travels so not bad.

Week 39 – Recovering In Bariloche
... and a Danish chick… the night was all good until the drinking games started. Luckily I wasn’t doing too badly and managed to help the less fortunate back to the hostel hahaha! As a result, Saturday was chill day & night spent with many a chic flic! (How have I not watched Freaky Friday before?!?!?)!

7 Lakes plus 1 massive Ash Cloud
... caused all the problems earlier on in the year.
Night time came and it was happy hour at this small Irish bar called Konner. They only served three beers which they brew at their own micro brewery. Seems there's a lot of micro breweries in Bariloche! The Konner beers were very good and we highly recommend going there if you're in the area. Again at night we cooked this amazing steak and had a few reds.
The next morning we changed hostels because ours was booked. ...
