We organised ourselves for the days ahead and went back for some more ice cream to cheer ourselves up followed by some really good steak at a place called El Muro, cool little restaurant with a rock-climbing wall on the side.

We had our lazy day so day 3 in El ...

... forecast, wildlife to look out for, treks to embark on and a detailed map too. An informative and pleasant welcome indeed! After picking up out luggage, Tasha turned to me with dread in her eyes as we stumbled towards our hostel, La Comarca, 'a cardboard box with boarded up windows', as Tash described it. (I'd booked this hostel, so the pressure was on for decent digs). With a simple ledger and pencil to organise their guest-list, it's a rugged, old-school approach that's adopted ...
